SS 2023 will be a showcase, not a competition. However, there are awards up for grabs, the recipients of which will be individually chosen by SFC and its partner organisations according to each entity’s criteria.

There is no minimum limit to the number of looks needed to be produced for submission, however, only one (1) look per designer will be presented at the final runway show day.

SS 2023 is open to all, as long as the main entrants are above the age of 18 and are based in Singapore.

While the entitlement cannot be replaced, we can hold the spot for future use, pending availabilities.

The cost of materials, designing and assembly will be borne wholly by the participant. However, Singapore Fashion Council (SFC) will be sponsoring the runway show for all selected looks, as well as the cost of models. Designers of the final 30 looks will also have the chance to auction off their pieces at a silent auction during the SFC Gala Dinner, with SFC taking a small commission of the earnings.

The looks for this showcase will not be restricted by gender, and you are free to design for whichever body you wish to create looks for.

Yes you can! However, we will only accept full look submissions, regardless of material of the look or finishing.
