KHAAR

KHAAR is a sustainable fashion brand by Vietnamese designer Kha Hoang Ngo, reimagining Vietnamese craftsmanship and cultural heritage through a modern, contemporary aesthetic. The brand merges feminine silhouettes with traditional Asian details, working primarily with recycled and upcycled textiles turned into unique, desirable designs. The name combines "Kha" with "AR" — for both Recycling and Augmented Reality.

Kha's collection for Fashion Futures, "RICE/RISE: From Fields to Pixels," is rooted in Vietnam's wet rice agriculture heritage, upcycling plastic rice sacks and noodle packaging into textiles that honor the country's food and textile legacy. Water buffalo-inspired silhouettes and pixelated gingham patterns blur analog memory with digital-age hues, turning each look into a moving archive of Vietnamese culture.
