Xi Wu Studio is an Australian-Chinese fashion label that emerged from designer Xizhu's bicultural upbringing. Shaped by feelings of fragmented identity, the garments draw from Australian and Chinese traditions in an ongoing reconciliation of East and West, past and present. Xi Wu Studio's collection for Fashion Futures honours Singapore's layered heritage — where Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Western influences intersect through Peranakan tiles, orchids, and tactile surfaces.
